NEW INDICATIONS FOR PATIENTS

As we all know, Mexico is under national sanitary surveillance due to the outbreak of COVID-19 disease, also known as disease caused by SAR-CoV-2 type Coronavirus. As is the case in many countries, it was declared as a Pandemic by the WHO.

Progressively, the Mexican health authorities have issued precise guidelines for the reopening of activities.

During this time, we have been able to offer limited medical care for patients that require PET CT imaging scan.

However, after preparing for you:

– Sanitation and social distancing protocol,

– Cleaning and disinfection techniques of the different care areas,

– Specific methods to perform the different techniques for your safe care as a patient,

We are pleased to announce that we will gradually reopen our services starting Monday, August 3, 2020.

We appreciate your understanding of the implementation for the following actions to provide you with the safe service you deserve. We ask ask for your collaboration with the following:

PATIENT CARE INSTRUCTIONS DURING COVID-19 CONTINGENCY

Companions:

The patient will enter the installations unaccompanied.

In case of being a minor and / or disabled patient, only one companion will be accepted and must undergo the same hygiene measures as the patient, including going through a sanitary filter*.

Children are NOT accepted as companions.

*A sanitary filter is a quick check of the health condition of people upon arrival at the clinic and its current purpose is to identify symptoms and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Patient’s clothing:

Arrive at your appointment without jewelry, decorations, cosmetic accessories, makeup.

Use long hair tied up, without loose hair (applies to women and men).

It is mandatory to use a face mask that covers nose, mouth and chin.

Punctuality:

Arrive on time at the time indicated for your appointment to avoid unnecessary waiting times inside the facilities.

Safety procedures:

Patient and companion will go through a sanitary filter.

Unacceptable symptoms for patient care: Fever, cough, headache, body pain, difficulty breathing, runny eyes, diarrhea, loss of sense of smell and/or taste, skin rashes or loss of coloring in fingers and/or toes.

Your oximetry and temperature will be taken, a verbal questionnaire will be carried out. You will be asked to apply alcohol gel in your hands.

You must be alert and keep a healthy distance from other patients and staff at all times. The social distance indicated is 6 feet.

In the event that upon your arrival you do not comply with the expected health requirements, your appointment may be canceled by the doctor responsible at that time.

The preferred method of payment is by credit or debit card, in order to comply with sanitary measures.

Patient reception protocol:

The patient and companion must go through the sanitary filter, which includes a sanitizing mat for shoe soles.

If you bring any garment that needs to be removed, you will be given a plastic bag to store it in isolation.

The staff who receives patients wears a mask, face shield, gloves and medical gown.

Inside the facilities, it is forbidden to wander through the common spaces or look into the patient care areas.

Inside the facilities, it is important to avoid unnecessary touching of: chairs, tables, door knobs and stationery.

For your safety, when we greet and say goodbye we do not kiss, hug, or have any physical contact with you.

Tips for a new patient appointment:

For a new appointment you must comply with the same rules that have been previously explained.

If you develop any respiratory symptoms or fever, or if during this time you come into contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient, you must notify us to reschedule your appointment.
